Rationale:
I chose this exercise
to include as an artifact because it relays information about me in
an atypical fashion. Instead of verbally sharing these details
about my life or writing them down, I displayed the important
features of my life through pictures that any audience could
understand. This project also afforded me the opportunity to
put into practice several of the techniques I learned in the Vision
IT training.
Implications for future:
I have
already used this assignment in my classroom this year in my middle
school technology applications course. The students loved
being able to create a project about themselves without having to
write an essay! I also plan to use it in my high school ta
classes in the future.
