Week 1 July 26, 2007 Off to another start! Looks like it will make more sense this time around!
  July 27, 2007 This process definitely shows how much there is to learn from each other! I hope we all keep in touch after the class is over.
  July 28, 2007 The process of defining what our goals and objectives are going to be helps organize your thinking on how every lesson should be planned. This is great practice for the upcoming school year!
  July 30, 2007 I'm off to a great start! I'm going to do everything I can ahead of time!
Week 2 August 3, 2007 Had a wonderful few days off with my family! Back to work!
  August 4, 2007 Did some preparation with my mentee today and worked ahead some. I'm finding that it is easier to plan and communicate the needs and processes for this project. It's so nice this time around to understand what we are doing!
  August 5, 2007 Seems like more of my peer students are feeling more comfortable like myself. I enjoy the interactions with others who are in the same process. All of the ideas and opinions are mind opening.
  August 6, 2007 Finishing up Theories and Factors today and hopefully the Prof. Dev. Plan!
  August 7, 2007 I talked with my mentee teacher about the Prof. Dev. Plan and the schedule for completing our lesson plan. Our goals were very much along the same lines before we even discussed them!
  August 8, 2007 End of week 2. Wow, this is going by fast! 1/3 done!
Week 3 August 9, 2007 Worked on formatting web pages for the rest of 1002 today. It's so nice that the formats are already created from 1001!
  August 10, 2007 Checked discussions today but not much else. My husband and I are going to Galveston for our anniversary!
  August 12, 2007 My mentee and I spoke again and I feel that we have a real comfort level with each other. The trust level is very comfortable. I think the key to building trust with future mentees will be having interactions with them before we actually work together on a project.
  August 13, 2007 Spoke with Shawn today and we feel we are both making great progress. The discussions with my peers have been very good. The more we talk and discuss the different issues it seems we get better at communicating and understanding each other.
  August 14, 2007 Today I'm typing up the information for the last of my Week 3 Discussions. And I will also be finishing another part of Week 4.
  August 15, 2007 Week 3 gone! Aaaaaaaa!
Week 4 August 16, 2007 I keep going back to review my goals as I complete more assignments. I find that is the best way to make sure I stay on track!
  August 17, 2007 Assessment Instrument down! I really enjoy the rubric part because they are an important part of my class assignments all of the time.
  August 18, 2007 Keeping up with all of the discussions is hard! I'm glad I will still be able to access the information later!
  August 20, 2007 Focusing on goals each step of the way while creating lesson plans can only help improve my ability to express myself.
  August 21, 2007 I feel that the best way to further enhance my abilities is to practice the mentoring process more and more.
Week 5 August 22, 2007 Only two weeks left, hard to believe!
  August 24, 2007 Worked on the lesson plan with my teacher again today. Hopefully we can do our video this week.
  August 25, 2007 I worked on the Copyright Pro info for our group today. This is an interesting project. A little different from what we've been doing. Nice change.
  August 26, 2007 Tomorrow is the first day with kids at school. I guess there are nervous students and teachers everywhere!

  August 28, 2007 I can't believe the MTT class is almost over! I do need the time now that school has started though. I already feel better interacting with other teachers about technology after going through this course. Just the forced effort (Not in a bad way!) has made me improve my communication skills and making my instructions clearer.
Week 6 August 29, 2007 Only a few more things left! Today I'm going to check off my list again to make sure what's left.
