Hardware/Software
For digital video productions, you will need a digital video recorder, with all of its peripherals including a fully charged battery and back-up battery. You will need the videotape, or tapes, necessary for filming. You will also need a microphone and possibly headphones for yourself to be able to hear the information that is going into your video production.
Your computer system will need a capture device, a fast hard drive, and be finely tuned in order to manage the video editing. Systems for managing digital video consist of an input or capture device, lots of storage and an output device, such as a VCR, which could then be captured for displaying on the TV or the Web.
