Instructor will demonstrate the following steps:

  • Copy/paste images from browser into a Word document
  • Copy/past text from browser into a Word document
  • Copy/paste URL from browser into a Word document

Learner will practice the steps with instructor.

 


Learners may take notes in Word.

Instructor will explain expected results of presentations Learners will repeat steps shown in demonstration. They will use appropriate keyword searches. Learners will save information and images from research into Word.
2. Use Powerpoint to create a multimedia project

Instructor will explain purpose of storyboard

Learners will participate by taking notes and asking questions.

Instructor will display blank storyboard and completed storyboard of teacher generated presentation

 

Materials: Blank storyboard and sample complete storyboard for teacher generated presentation

Learners will create a storyboard for their presentation.

  • Open Powerpoint
  • Select Design Template
  • Select Slide layout
  • Inserting Text & Images
  • Animation & Transitions
  • Adding New Slides
  • Preview Slide Show
  • Save File

Materials: Computer with Powerpoint and projector

Learners will practice steps with demonstration and create individual presentations from storyboard.
3. Students will reflect integrity and ethical practices regarding acquisitions and use of copyright materials Discuss Instructor will explain copyright laws at it affects their presentations. Learner will participate by note taking and asking questions.

Instructor will display works cited page from teacher generated presentation. Learners will create works cited page for their individual presentations.

Aspect 2: The Social System

 

The learners will be taking part in whole class discussion and reflections. They will be working individually and asking for the the instructor's help when they need it.

Aspect 3: The Role of the Instructor

 

The role of the instructor will be that of demonstrator and showing by example. They will monitor and answer questions according to learners' need.
