The instructor is the leader of the class.  The "students" will listen and take notes during instruction acting responsibly.  After direct instruction the students will be working in large peer groups with teacher interaction as needed.  Any special needs are to be met by the instructor.  The instructor will also be responsible for directing group discussions and for  noting peers who can provide assistance to others.

Role of the Instructor

The instructor is the leader as well as a coach.  The instructor will dictate the speed of the lesson as well as handle any …ahem..behavior..issues.. The instructor will also present the information using appropriate technology and should do his/her best to make it entertaining.  The instructor will also be responsible for assigning peers who can provide assistance.
