| Aspect 2: The social system
Describe the interpersonal structure of the instructional experience.
|
The teachers should be use to this type of instruction for inservice. There is no lab large enough to have hands-on for 43 adult learners, but we decided that the teachers could grasp the information with demonstration. The follow-up is planned to eliminate any questions that hands-on experience may create. |
| Aspect 3: The role of the instructor
Describe your general instructional role. For example, will you present material, guide students as they research their own issues, etc?
|
I will basically be a demonstrator of the software. I have the advantage of having used the software as a teacher for two years. I will answer most of their questions as I demonstrate. I also am using a Powerpoint demonstration on a second screen that keeps us on task. |
| Aspect 4: The support system
Describe the types and amount of instructional, technical, and other resource support required for the instruction (e.g., instructional materials, communication capabilities).
|
I have an assistant for handouts and any other errands. There will be two separate large screens on the stage, one for live demonstration and one for instructional Powerpoint. There will also be two data projectors. One main concern is the network connection in the auditorium. The whole inservice rests on the proper functioning of the network. |
