As the instructor, I will open the lesson with a teaching review of Egyptian Hieroglyphics. I will then present a power point on research techniques. Presenting the steps on the internet will allow the students to see how search engines work. While the students are searching in their group, I will guide them in their research. After each group aquires information needed, I will then show students how to use the interactive features of PowerPoint by presenting the information using power point. Break students into groups and have them practice the interactive features presented. Will facilitate students as they teach other how to use specific interactive features of PowerPoint. We will have a practice peer demonstration from each group. After my presentaion on search engines and PowerPoint interactive features, I will act as a guide to the students in the rest of the lesson cycle. Powerpoint
