Main Subject Matter Topic -
6th Grade Social Studies Class. The students will learn about Egyptian hieroglyphics.
Then research using the internet to find examples of both hieroglypics and modern
day symbols.The groups will work together to create a presentation to present
to the class.
Sub Topics:
Egyptian Hieroglyphics. The teacher will teach the requirements and lesson.

The students are on target in learning their social studies curriculum.
Degree of Learning Difficulty:
Various levels of computer
experience will be encountered - the disadvantage will be in this area. The
advantage will be the
willingness to learn and use the equipment.
Teaching Strategies:
Working in groups will be the main strategy. I am looking at grouping for this
assignment based on student skill levels.
