Although the student with ADHD will be allowed to be a teacher helper and students will be assisted by the teacher, the students are given ample tools to complete the activities independently.

The child with Sensory Integration Disorder (deficiency) will be accommodated by attaching velcro beneath the computer desk he will occupy before the class enters the lab. The teacher will have seating assignments so as not to bring attention to this student's special needs. The ADHD students will be asked to serve as teacher helpers, walking to other students' desks as needed. Match

With the help of coaching and/or suggestions from the MTTC students and instructor, I can perhaps evaluate my coaching/mentoring strategies.

Instruction will be in two formats.The teacher will review the "A-E" sounds with the students as she presents a Power Point presentation to illustrate object which begin with each respective sound.She will guide the students by asking questions concerning objects and sounds, encouraging student participation with questions of their own and association to real-life experiences. A supportive atmosphere will be necessary to promote collaboration between learner and instructor. The student sessions will be held in the lab with a seating arrangement. During the matching game using HyperStudio, the teacher, lab assistant, and student assistants will help students with computer-related questions. The teacher will serve as facilitator during the game.Students print the completed game.After students complete the matching game, a jigsaw-puzzle handout will be distributed. Students will fill in the puzzle using words that represent the sounds in the lesson. n/a n/a n/a
My role in the lesson is to assist in the creation of the Power Point presentation, to coach concerning coywright laws and techniques with the software, and to ask questions about objectives, procedures and student involvement.
