a) to enable continuous/frequent feedback between you and the students

rubric that gives sequence of tasks

rubric with clear, definite list of expectations

frequent oral report checkpoints at least 3 times during the project

 

digital, camera, computer, software, and tape player will facilitate both written and spoken language and acquisition of new vocabulary along with technology skills

b) to encourage the students to reflect on their learning progress and achievement

peer evaluation of each other’s work at various stages of the project

frequent teacher comment as they interact with the software, plan, and write their autobiographies

the computer and printer will enable printout of the drafts at various stages and students can easily peer evaluate each other’s work

c) to determine your students’ learning progress and achievement

comparison with writing samples from last fall

end-of-project presentation

computer will allow presentation via large screen monitor and the importance of written language via technology will be understood by the students
