Aspect 2: The social system

Describe the interpersonal structure of the instructional experience.

The students will gain individual and group experience in the research and writing process.
Aspect 3: The role of the instructor

Describe your general instructional role. For example, will you present material, guide students as they research their own issues, etc?

I will review the research process with the students. During the research process, I will guide the students by asking questions to help them find their information. During the writing process, I will guide the students as they work with a peer in the editing, revising, and proofreading process. The multimedia project will be modeled and the students will use a template to help them create their presentation. During the technology process, I will assist the computer lab assistant. I will then guide students through the multimedia project.
Aspect 4: The support system

Describe the types and amount of instructional, technical, and other resource support required for the instruction (e.g., instructional materials, communication capabilities).

For support I will need a computer lab with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Internet, printer, and scanner. The final multimedia project will be displayed on the computers in the classroom during open house. The students will need resources from the library. The students will be able to work on the presentations in the classroom as will as the computer lab. Communication will be direct and continually since the class is my homeroom from 7:45 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
