Students will choose family members to interview, practice interviewing with their peers and conduct interviews,.

Students will take information gained from interviews to research family information on the web.

Aspect 2 - The Social System
In this lesson the students will be required to interact with various family members to do their interviews.Then students will reflect upon the importance of each family members role in the family unit. The activities will also require the students to interact with each other while revealing personal information about themselves and their family while discussing common experiences. Through the discussions the students will compare and see similarities and differences between families. Students will have to cooperate and show empathy for others.
Aspect 3 - The Role of the Instructor
The instructor will present information and guide the students using direct instruction, collaboration, and demonstration . She will help the students to develop their desired questioning outcomes, electronic document, internet research, and family tree. She will guide the students in discussions to help students summarize learning and with the presentations to the class.
