1. Computers with the Lynx software, which contains the lesson planner, loaded
2. Access to the school network
3. Merging the TEKS with their classes.

The network might be down. (This rarely ever happens.)

The software might not be loaded on enough computers.

Will have to go around deep freeze, if done in a lab.

Create a lesson in the lesson planner

1. Log on to Lynx
2. Setup an initial lesson
3. Save the lesson and edit be able to it

The teachers unwillingness to change the way they do lesson plans.

Not having a real lesson to work on.

Link the lesson to other classes of the same subject

1. Become familiar with the "link to class" button.
2. Be aware that TEKS must still be brought in from the data base for each class

The department head does not know how to help (they are to be trained earlier)

Evaluate the needs of diverse learners. This should not be a problem as far as technology goes.

The department heads will be taught the lesson first, on an individual basis. Then they will help with monitoring when the departments are taught.
