their own newsletter article.

their writing styles with other writing styles that they have found through
their research. The students will be
able to discuss with each other ways to improve their writing.
Synthesis: The students will produce a final
newsletter article. They will choose a
picture that has been inserted into the article. The school will publish some of the newsletter articles on the
school’s website.
Evaluation: The students will use a student-devised
rubric and their own discussion and comments to determine if they composed an
adequate newsletter article.

with any of the diverse learners in class is that their needs are met. In some instances, some of the students may
