| Aspect 2 - The Social System |
| Over the course of the lesson, students will work individually, in pairs, in groups of three, in jigsaw groups, and as a whole class (round robin style). The students are given the opportunity to choose their partners. This far in the year the students know what is expected of them and choose their partners so that they complete the tasks at hand. |

| Teacher-centered: Present new material, identify passages that exemplify new terms/concepts
Interactive (Dual -centered): Questioning in reading, interjecting and checking for understanding
Learner - centered: Facilitator - referee - editor. Set up of projects and equipment for student use. Monitor to maintain class on task.
