Willie,

To incorporate more technology into your lesson...I found a helpful video on United Streaming called: The Legal Ramifications of Drug Abuse. Our school district does not have a site license yet...but I signed up for a demo account just to preview it. You can do the same...and I willtalk with Dr. McHaney about getting a district site license for us to use all year long. The website is www.unitedstreaming.com. Lots of cool resources here.Okay, you can go the site, and stream the video from your laptop through your overhead project to show the class. Some of the others issues to address: computer lab managment, copyright infrigments, source citing, computer lab management (mobile lab), teamwork student to student.Any suggestions or ideas on how to address the issues?Let me know what you think.Tell your Mom I said hello.Oh yeah...here is the link to my MTT page I was talking to you about.

Happy 4th of July!!

It poured here so we did not get to see many fireworks. Sorry i did not email you sooner, we have been busier than i thought we would be. we are going to head home tomorrow so i will check my email tomorrow night or friday morning.

your web site looks great! I can not think of anything to change. I saw info about a ruberic. Do I need to come up with a ruberic for the assignment? do you think a power point is okay? sometimes this might be overused, but i did not know what else to do to incorporate technology.

I am not sure whatelse you need me to do now?????

Sorry i do not have better access at home, I think we are going to get a mac, but Andy's friend Jason said to hold out until October when they release them with windows vista or something like that!!

talk to you soon :)

I think powerpoint is a good incorporation of technology. This is a great idea for this lesson.

You can create a rubric for this lesson and send it to me. You can use rubistar4teachers.org.

Let me know if you have any questions. thanks.

I made 3 ruberics. One for the p.p. project, one for the oral presentation, and one for each member of the group to evaluate the other group members.

Let me know what I need to do next. I am going out of town today for coaching school. If you need me to do something before next week, text me and I will get to a computer.

Have a great day!!
