Description:
This presentation was created as an overview presentation about
the features of UnitedStreaming to be used to present to a variety
of audiences for the UnitedStreaming rollout. The presentation was
designed so that it could be adapted for superintendents, technology
specialists, librarians, and general users. It was also added to
my web page so that staff across the district could access the presentation
to use in their own staff training. Because of this diverse purpose
and audience, the web presentation was designed to be easily viewed
(very small file sizes) with the option of downloading either the
PowerPoint show (for users without PowerPoint) or the original PowerPoint
file itself.
Rationale:
I chose to include this project because it demonstrates creating
electronic products to communicate a message (information about
the UnitedStreaming rollout) to a diverse audience in a variety
of formats to suit a variety of platforms.
Implications for future:
In the future, I plan to add additional presentations and documents
to my web site for informational and training purposes and, due
to the diverse nature of our audience at Region XI, I plan to use
a similar strategy with all of the items that I publish on the web.
