Title: Creating Digital Graphics
Course: TATC - Digital
Graphics/Animation
Date Created: October 22, 2002
Source: Individual Project
Media: Web page using MS
FrontPage and Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home
Edition
Description: For this we were to take
a single picture and use different digital
graphics tools to show how it changes the
perspective, look and feel of the subject.
Rationale: This assignment stretched
what I had learned and helped me to expand my
abilities. I used a product that I was
already familiar with but had never used it to
its fullest. The assignment also required
me to utilize tables in a web page which I was
just beginning to get used to. It also
helped me to use the principles of design that
we had touched on periodically since the start
of the course.
Implications for future: Since I
do a lot of scanning of photos and am just now
starting to use a digital camera, this will
enable me to correct imperfections and enhance
the photos as I go along. I have done
several "memory" quilts and pillows for
individuals and can see how this would really
help to emphasize the subjects.
