I chose the Online Web Tools site. I did so because it
demonstrates what can be done on a website with little or no
training. It also demonstrates a great deal of growth on my
part.

Date Created: November 26,2002

Description: TATC participants enrolled in the Advanced
Web Authoring session were to choose three topics from a suggested
list of web tools. They were to research them and present the
information found to the entire group. I chose animation,
audio, and PowerPoint.
Rationale: Having limited background at this time in web
authoring I chose the three topics that would at least give my web
pages a little personality. I am already proficient in
PowerPoint and the other two compliment that program. I know
that there is a lot more to learn, such as HTML and JavaScript but
these are a good basic start.
Implications for future: This is setting the foundation
for a more extensive learning experience in web authoring. I
can see many possibilities where it will benefit my job as
technology director.
Reviewers Comments: I loved the pp how to. I will
use it as well.
