Observation Experience

My observation experience occured at Martin High School in Arlington, TX. I observed Computer Science classes, Multimedia, and Web Mastery. This school houses 3500 kids under one roof, and I come from a 3A school, so it was interesting to see how things are done on a bigger scale. I really enjoyed seeing how these teachers utilize their resources. I was amazed at what resources were available to them even though I know they must struggle with so many students to take care of. I learned so much regarding lesson plans, ways to utilize the classroom environment and equipment. It seems that in the Technology classes, there is such a variety of ways in which we cover our material depending on the resources (or lack of ) that are available. I enjoyed being able to look at the student's work in the classes I observed, and was very impressed with what I saw. The whole experience got me excited about the possibilities of what all could be accomplished and taught with proper resources and knowledge, and I do appreciate all of my peers and the support they give.
