But, the leadership to drive this program from vision to completion will require our technology leaders to reform the structure of learning, refocus the curriculum, and provide the professional development required to implement these programs.
This will require:
- Infrastructure: They include, literacy, numeracy, and a global perspective, technological expertise, and adaptability. Tomorrow's citizen must not only have an education, but a lifelong capacity to learn.
- New technologies brought by the electronics revolution to the schoolroom will play a critical role in the transformation of education--as they have already transformed the work place.
- Restructure Education: There's a national, state, and district will to re-shape and restructure education, from basic philosophies to the classroom itself.
