Communicate Information

Communicate information in different formats and for diverse audiences.

Reflection:

Sharing a bit of my life with my classmates was fun. Communicating through pictures is much more interesting for most audiences. I think digital graphics has improved stuffy business presentations and boring school curriculum 100%. Pictures paint a thousand words and are much more expressive then bulleted phrases.

Title: Digital Bio

Course: 101- Digital Graphics

Date Created: October 12, 2002

Source: Scanned images, clipart

Media: Photosuite 4

Description: A digital graphic collage which gives a brief introduction of myself - not in words but in pictures.

Rationale: This project gave me the opportunity to be creative while learning a new software program. When using digital graphics it is important to let the images do the talking and not the words. This collage was representative of my life, and I think this was communicated to my audience.

Implications for future: Upon completion of this assignment, I immediately turned my classes loose with it. They loved expressing themselves through their collages. This will be an excellent opening assignment for a digital graphics unit.

Reviewers Comments:

Good to see someone else is an aggie! I thought your bio was very cute. Ally

Good job. I liked all the images you used in your collage. Debbie

That was a nice job! Great work! I liked the way all of the pictures were spaced out, giving the effect as being one when you step back and look at the whole. Diana
