Standards II
Acquire, Analyze, and Evaluate Information
Identify task requirements, apply search strategies, and use current technology to efficiently acquire, analyze, and evaluate a variety of electronic information.
This was a great experience in doing research on the internet. There is a vast amount of knowledge out there. Learning to acquire, analyze, and evaluate this information will make our technology curriculum more organized and concise to assist our students in making informed decisions about the technological tools available.

Description: Produce a web page with a table of the three web tool technologies. The table includes the Technology & Reference, Description, Educational purpose, Educational value, Educational limitations.
Also included is a link on how to use Quicktime and links to resources of the other technologies.
Rationale: I chose to research: bulletin boards, Quicktime, and Virtual Reality. These web tools were the ones I was most interested in learning more about. The Quicktime link was a great online tutorial for using Quicktime. Compiling this table and reading the projects of my classmates was helpful in learning more about different web tools. There are so many different software options, that researching them all would be very time consuming. This format made it much easier to evaluate all the information available on the web in this area.
Implications for future:
This would be a great assignment for teaching students how to create web page tables while comparing information.
