Professional Goals
My professional goals are to continue learning and growing in the area of educational technology so that I can serve as a leader of instructional technology in my district. I believe that technology is a tool that increases student engagement in learning and student success, and can provide them with skills for future careers. I want to be able to plan for staff and students TODAY so that they will be prepared for TOMORROW.
Short term goals:
- Grow in my skills and knowledge of each TA course
- Successful completion of TATC program and certification
- Become proficient in using the various software applications for this program, and others like them
- Share with and learn from fellow TATC classmates
- Model the skills and teaching strategies that I learn
Long term goals:
- Complete a master's degree in educational technology
- Master Technology Teacher certification
- Provide staff development to prepare teachers to use new tools and teaching strategies purposefully
- Provide an good environment for learning technology
- To build collaboration within our district and with other districts
