Professional Goals

My professional goals at the beginning of this journey were much different than today and I expect that if I look back at this statement in another two years they would be yet changed again. In the beginning, I wanted to be able to do a little more with my skills to help me feel more prepared in the classroom. In the evolution of my personal goals, I changed from needing to know about the Technology applications, to desiring to master them. Consequently, I have spent many long nights and days struggling to master concepts which were specific to a variety of software applications and determine what the banner of each were that could be applied to anything. My new professional goals will be accomplished this summer with the excet test for Master Teacher of Technology, since finishing the MTTC program through Region XI in May 2003. With the issues in the State Legislature uncertain and the future of Technology funding in the classroom somewhat volitile at this time, my goals for now must be to simply be satisfied with what I can do each day.
