Host R. Lee Ermey, a 10-year Marine, was a staff sergeant when he was forced to retire from the Marine Corps after being injured in Vietnam. Ermey is best known for his role of a drill instructor in "Full Metal Jacket."

As a Golden Globe nominee and Boston Society of Film Critics Award-winner for Best Supporting Actor in director Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket," Ermey is also one of the most successful and talented actors working in film and television today.
