The Assignment

YOU KNOW THE SECRET OF THE UNIVERSE

and you want people to read about it!

You have purchased advertising space on the Yahoo, MSN, and CNN web sites and need to create a banner ad for their use. If you build it, they will come and know ----- THE SECRET OF THE UNIVERSE!

Specifications:

  1. Banner ad is a full horizontal ad, using one of the three sizes (468 by 60, 460 by 55, 192 by 72)

  2. Theme should be YOU and your SECRET OF THE UNIVERSE. Rule: the secret of the universe has no physically-altering properties, so keep it "wholesome"!
  3. The SECRET OF THE UNIVERSE is free.
  4. Must be animated and contain at least 4 graphic elements (text, pictures, shapes)
  5. Sources for all materials used must be included in a separate Microsoft Word document.

The Digital Graphics Sample (DG Sample link) was created to highlight several techniques for changing digital images. The tree used will be about 3 seconds of my animation, highlighting one of the darker SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE that other people have explored.
