Rubric for Teacher Resource Web Site Evaluation

Some firm convictions reflected in my rubric:

The ability to award no credit is appropriate in some categories.

Some categories need to be weighted differently.

In some cases a specification is met or not, with no middle ground.

Independent investigation should be encouraged and rewarded.

Sites are visited for information, so the content should be weighted heavily.

Content: Purpose	The purpose of the site is clearly stated, and information in the site consistently supports its purpose. Content: Information pertinent	The audience for which the information is intended is clearly stated, and the information presented is pertinent to the audience.
