Richard Dreyfuss was born in New York in 1947. After working on Broadway for a while, he got noticed for his role in American Graffiti. After Graffiti, he became well known for roles in Jaws, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, The Goodbye Girl, which he won an Oscar for, Stakeout, and Mr. Hollands Opus.

John Williams should need little introduction since he is almost certainly the most well-known film composer, and possibly to many people the best-known composer, period.
